Ayutthaya - Week#4

   I'm thinking that I may not keeping an update for A day of weekend in Ayutthaya in Thailand
week # 4 in this week today.Due to I was tired of driving.But I have promises to update every week. Today are the other day, very hot. However, it is normal temperature in April of Thailand It was during the Summer.

Today has almost 40°c,Very hot ,isn't ?Today I went to two places of worship.Thailand people will know well on both. Because each weekend will have many people come and worship.

Wat Na Phra-Meru

   No Doubt ,The name of temple suggests that this was a royal cremation site; possibly even used for a KING.The temple has very old two Buddha images .

A) The golden Buddha image in the main wiharn (6 meter high, 4.4 meters in width), with its decorative crown, is in a style associated with King Prasat Thong (1629-1656).
B) The second Buddha image, carved out of green stone was transported from originally located Wat Mahathat.
The active temple seen today is the result of numerous renovations. King BOROMKIT (1732-1757) make a series of repairs as did also King RAMA III (1823-1850)

Some people was told me that , Wat Na Phra-Meru is thee only temple was never got destroyed by the Burmese on the battle between SIAM and Burmese , Its so strange and so surprising ,Did you ??

WAT Yai Chai-Mongkol

   On that occasion, King Naresuan's army was not able to inflict greater losses on the Burmese because many of his regiments did not come to reinforce him in time.The King Naresoun wished to execute the officers of those regiments at the conclusion of the war, but Maha Thera Vanarat begged the King to pardon them and advised him to build the big CHE-DI instead of in memory of his great victory until today.
   I still proud in our greatest the KING Naresoun who are protection our land from enemies and keep for our child to live til today, This temple is the one of represent on his victory
   I always take any chance to visit here if I could and for sure today I can not missed out here,fairly I went their in several times but never took many picture same as today due to I need to get the beautiful to update to my page and hopefully you guys will happy with those pictures

Ayutthaya - Week#3

After Enjoy Lunch there is nothing better than visit to Ayutthaya . I will advice couples place to guild you for this week
I always feeling warm whenever I have driving through Wat Mahathat ,The temple of holy ruins and today I can touch its again

Wat Sam Wi-Harn

   This Ohly temple lies outside of the Ayutthaya old city and loacated at Blog Bangklod in Amphore Muang,Ayutthaya,they were three Viharn's at this temple.Now there are two and an Ubosot .One of the old Viharn is contain a huge reclining Buddha image.There is a large seated image " Luang Phor Khao in front of the bell shap and there is one big Chedi behind of Luang Phor Khao

   This temple is so quite due to there are fewer tourists , here is a good stopover and take half an hour to see around especially  the Reclining Buddha is over 600 years , so amazing

Getting there ; Start Point is WAT Mahathat
Heading to east along Naresoun Road to Chikun Road 130 Meters and turn left to Chikun Road 700 Meters and turn right on to rout 3060 about 1.1 KM ,Destination will be on left

Wat Mongkol bophit 

   On the history of this temple ,after I have reading through its so long story and so complicated ,I afraid to distributing to all of you due to I may missed out some important which you may loss some information so better way to check it HERE for more details and correct information
   Anyway Wiharn Mongkol Bophit is located on the city Island within Ayutthaya Historical Park and situated south of WAT Sri Sanphet and the Grand palace

Inside of temple has holy Buddha head for reverence to be around the big Gold Buddha and also has some picture of history , quite interesting

   On my view I quite impress on original big Gold Buddha without any renovation , I can saw from the old picture inside there , its making me feel that the Buddha being holy and Supremely Auspicious , I having compare between original and after renovated how different they are on left hand side
   Anyway if people of Ayutthaya doesn't has faithful , we may seeing the ruins of holy Buddha and Holy temple in here as same some of others place around here ,I have to Praising to everyone who are the restoration all the thins to became new with faithful on Buddhism


WAT Lokaya Sutharam

  Wat Lokaya Sutharam is the big temple and also have a giant of Reclining Buddha , how is big ? 37 Meters

long and 8 Meters high ,the head of Buddha is resting on a lotus and the legs are overlap squarely

and show equalize toes is mean enlightenment , Wat Lokaya Sutharam is located in West of ancient royal,same area with Wat Worachet Tharam and Wat Worapho , located south side of canal , opposite  of WAT Worachet Tharam 

   Base on the evidence document just mention that Wat Lokaya Sutharam is located on history city of Ayuthaya only and mention on the construction of variety of exquisitely with high skill master piece 

   On my view , I have to greed with this document's mention the Reclining Buddha is so big and exquisitely and most beautiful. 

   I am exciting when I reached there and take an hour for seen and taking the picture 

and also keep doubt , how amazing I am here ,Thanks for builder this place and thanks for the time who are keeping this holy place until here .

   Just for your information , If you still remember the worst flooding was in Ayutthaya and water level high to the seventh of Toe of Reclining Buddha 

   If you are mostly interesting on the history ,I hopefully this trip with mostly beautiful place and holy Buddha will making easier deciding to visit Ayutthaya and keep the great moments about Ayutthaya with you forever

Ayutthaya - Week#2

Week#2 – 07 April 2013

   Hers is a second of week to travelling to Ayutthaya and an keeping you an update .Today is very hot with almost almost 40°C on this weekend (On April ,2013) , In fact I having set up the target is about 4 places to visit a week but this week is terrible , The temperature is  too high , So this week I just have three places for
you , sorry about that Again I left from

   My home Samutprakarn province about 11.00 am and reached Ayutthaya at 12.00 am. So what I gonna
do,  I having lunch first to top up my energy , I have order 2 noodles and one more main dish and including COCA COLA , I paid about 150 Thai Baht. It is so CHEAP

Ayutthaya - Week#1

   Actually I was born in Ayutthaya but I have a less of knowledge about Ayutthaya history,an especially the great Temples and the historical place , So that's why I want to take opportunity for plan to have a weekly trip to Ayutthaya and keeping you an update my Blog , its may not nice too much but its my beginning ,I will try my best

Week#1 - 31 March 2013

   Today is my first start to concentrate to visit my hometown in Ayutthaya Island , which will be broadcast from real attractions on my journey

Below are my destination for a days in Ayutthaya on first week

1. BANN Watcharachai- Thai restaurant
2. WAT Krasattrathirat Worawihan
3. The Monument of King NARESOUN THE GREAT
4. Phukaothong

Fisrt Place -BANN Watcharachai- Thai restaurant

   For my journey I am NOT to take any specially  transportation ,just took my car and drive from my second home in SAMUTPRAKARN Province , its take about a hour to reached Ayutthaya ( Super car )

   I am reached Ayutthaya about 1.30 pm so there is no any interest to do , excepted EATING (haha) So I driving two the place I was been there one time , on that day this restaurant has one big boat in front of their but now its gone due to the worst flood on October 2011

   The worst flood on 2011 , I remember that I went to Adelaide SA South of Australia  on 11 September 2011 before flood I having follow every morning news and saw all of 100% of Ayutthaya Island got flood , Its so sad to seeing that on the news , I plan to stay in SA 2 months but I can stay only a month there , I fly back an early November

Watcharachai Thai restaurant is original Thai style furnishings and the foods really an ancient-Thai

   I have order three main dishes and paid only 630 Thai Baht , so cheap
